World's most polluted river

The Citarum river near the Indonesian capital of Jakarta. Notice the man is on a boat, not foraging in a landfill.

One of the most polluted rivers in America is in Brooklyn, NY. It has an estimated 17 million - 30 million gallons of oil trapped in the auquifer next to the NewTown Creek. Of course the oil companies are whining about cleaning it up, yea the same oil companies that made $111 billion in 2005.
